Recommended Senior High School Strand
Students who wish to pursue a degree in entrepreneurship are encouraged to take the Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strand. This strand provides the fundamental concepts of business and financial management and corporate operations that will be helpful in their college journey.
However, students can also take the General Academic Strand (GAS) if they prefer a wider range of topics. The GAS strand has a flexible curriculum where students can choose from all other academic strands.

Admission Requirements
Qualifications
- Applicants must have graduated from high school.
However, if they do not graduate from high school, they may choose to pass the Alternative Education System (ALS) and the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) to qualify for college. The availability of courses for PEPT passers depends on the university.

Program Outcome
Graduates of the BS in Entrepreneurship are expected to be able to:
- Determine the level of entrepreneurial skills.
- Analyze and identify potential business opportunities and promote its profitability.
- Prepare a detailed business plan.
- Comply with necessary procedures for business operations.
On-The-Job Training/Internship
During the fourth year of the program, students are usually required to attend on-the-job training (OJT) in relevant workplaces such as corporate and start-up companies.
Students are allowed to apply their knowledge and skills in a real work setting. Generally, universities require them to submit a written report about their work, learning experiences, and hours offered. Their immediate managers will also evaluate their work performance and present it to their respective OJT Coordinator. The number of hours required at each university may vary.
Board Exam
There is no board examination for the BS in Entrepreneurship program. However, graduates can opt for the Civil Service Examination (CSE) conducted by the Philippine Civil Service Commission (PCSC) to work in government offices. Some graduates choose to pursue a master’s degree followed by a doctoral degree to gain industry expertise.
