Minister launches five language courses in TEVTA 2024 / New Update
Jul 10 On Wednesday in Lahore, (APP) Provincial Minister for Industry and Commerce Chaudhry Shafay Hussain announced the commencement of Minister five language courses in TEVTA full form Technical Education and Educational Training Authority. The minister has personally inaugurated the language programs by pressing the computer button.
According to the program, 3-month short courses in German, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, and Chinese languages โโare being conducted in evening classes in these institutions. These courses will provide knowledge about employment opportunities abroad, immigration laws, and other issues. German language courses will be conducted in Lahore and Gujarat, Japanese in Rawalpindi, Korean in Sialkot, and Arabic in Multan.
Regarding the courses, the regular classes are being started on August 5. On this occasion, Provincial Minister for Industry and Commerce Chaudhry Shafay Hussain said that the initiation of five language โโprograms in Tevta institutions is a good initiative of the government. With these courses, the youth will be able to get the best job opportunities in foreign countries.
While directing the complete monitoring of the classes of the language courses, the provincial minister has said that the labs of the language courses should also be upgraded as per the need. Senior DG TEVTA Akhtar Abbas Bharwana has said while giving a detailed briefing about the language short courses.
The standard of teaching for the courses was fixed according to the courses so that the courses could be explained in the best way and benefits could be gained. Secretary Industry Ihsan Bhutta, Chairman TEVTA, COO, and other officers of TEVTA participated in the inauguration ceremony while the Regional Director of TEVTA participated through a video link. Punjab to Teach Foreign Languages to Students
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved to start of foreign language courses. Maryam Nawaz has asked to consider that modern courses of market-driven trade should be given attention in TEVTA institutes. It has been further said that efforts should be made to introduce foreign language courses including Korean, Japanese, German, Chinese, and Arabic in Tevta institutes.
Chief Minister Maryam has agreed to the proposal for the establishment of the Punjab Overseas Employment Promotion Authority for skilled jobs in the international market. And has directed the large-scale outsourcing of the ‘Heavy Machinery Driving/Operator Course‘.
The Chief Minister has approved the construction of 45 welding workshops in nine cities as well as state-of-the-art welding and construction courses in Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, Multan, Attock, Taxila, Lehya, and Mianwali.
He also agreed to the proposal to recruit 1000 employees to meet the shortage of human resources in TEVTA and directed to increase the monthly budget by Rs.2000 thousand per student per month for the purchase of training materials for practical training. Further, he has directed the concerned authorities to ensure the biometric attendance of the representative and issue guidelines.
