The Fully Funded Erasmus Mundus Meta4.0 Scholarship Programme 2025 is a prestigious two-year initiative designed to equip students with the skills and expertise needed to address the emerging challenges of Innovation 4.0. Offered jointly by six leading universities in Germany, Italy, Slovenia, France, and Norway, the program provides a truly international educational experience. This scholarship focuses on four key aspects of modern manufacturing: digital manufacturing, clean manufacturing, sustainable manufacturing, and smart manufacturing. The curriculum has been carefully designed to ensure that students gain theoretical knowledge and skills in modern methods to advance the industry.
Graduates of this fully-funded scholarship program will become future manufacturing professionals. They can work worldwide and improve the industry’s existing skills to fill the gaps. The Meta4.0 Scholarship for International Students creates an interdisciplinary environment by creatively integrating labs, internships, and theoretical and applied courses.
During the first year of the meta4.0 Scholarship for Master’s students, graduates will develop a solid foundation to address the fundamentals of manufacturing technologies in France, followed by materials science and engineering in Italy. During the second year, students will have the option to study in Norway, Slovenia, France or Germany and choose from four specializations offered by the universities.

Benefits of the Erasmus Mundus meta 4.0 Scholarship in Europe 2025:
- There will be no tuition fees.
- The scholarship will cover the cost of registration and enrolment at the partner universities.

- Health insurance will be included.
- A lump sum of 1400 €/month will be awarded for 2 years to cover living expenses, travel costs and accommodation costs in the different countries.
Eligibility criteria for the Erasmus Mundus meta 4.0 Scholarship in Europe 2025:
Applicants:
- Must have at least a Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering or possibly Mechatronics.
- May be in the final year of a Bachelor’s program but must have graduated before 31 July 2025.
- Must be proficient in English (B2 level).
