UNIVERSITY OF MALAKAND Admissions IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
- Candidates employed in any Government, Semi-Government Department/Organization and Autonomous Institutions must submit NOC from the concerned Department/Organization within 30 days.
- A copy of the application submitted to the employer for NOC or Affidavit may be submitted at the time of admission, failing which the admission will be considered cancelled.
- All candidates are advised to keep visiting the University website for important information regarding the Entrance Test. Other relevant information/announcements will also be made through the official website of the University.
- All candidates must appear for the Entrance Test as per the schedule displayed on the University website.
- For admission to PhD, MPhil or equivalent degree with research thesis is mandatory.
- All schedules/announcements will be communicated to the applicants only through the Departmental Notice Board and the University website.
- The Graduate Studies Committee will scrutinize the original documents, Statement of Purpose (for PhD only) and process the applications received for admission to ensure compliance with the MS/MPhil/PhD regulations.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission
MS/MPhil Programme
- Sixteen years of schooling/education in the annual system with Second Division or 4 years of education with at least 120 credit hours (obtained after HSSC/F.A/F.Sc/Grade 12 or equivalent) with a minimum of 2.50/4.00 CGPA (or its equivalent) in the semester system if the CGPA is not outside 4.00) will be required.
- The University will conduct an entrance test through NTS or any other testing agency of national repute, approved by the University, with a minimum of 50% passing score.
PhD Programme
- MS/MPhil or equivalent degree (Level 7 of education) with a minimum of 3.00/4.00 CGPA in semester system (or its equivalent if CGPA is not outside 4.00) or 60% in annual system, in MS/MPhil/equivalent degree, from a HEC recognized DAI.
- The University will conduct a subject entrance test through NTS or any other testing agency of national repute, approved by the University, with a minimum passing score of 60%.

The last date to apply for University of Malakand UOM Chakdra Admission 2025 is 20th January 2025
HOW TO APPLY
- Applicants shall apply online through “Online Application System” available on UOM website.
- All applicants are required to download the deposit slip/fee challan generated from the system and submit it at any nearest branch of National Bank of Pakistan or Bank of Khyber.
- Bank challan/receipt should be attached with other scanned documents, otherwise the application will not be considered.
