The Erasmus Mundus AMIR Scholarship 2025 aims to contribute to the higher education of upcoming material scientists, chemists and engineers who have innovative and entrepreneurial skills. This fully-funded scholarship program in Europe is designed for students who are passionate about working in the raw materials sector, focusing on advanced materials, their sustainable development and recycling in the context of the circular economy. During this scholarship for Masters students, participants will gain interdisciplinary knowledge across all study tracks to achieve learning objectives related to innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability.
The Erasmus Scholarship 2025/27 will provide students with both theoretical and practical knowledge in advanced materials for advanced recycling. After completing this 2-year study program, students will be able to work in any profession related to this topic. Another major advantage of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters programme is the compatibility of expertise of all academic and industrial partners.
The AMIR-EM Research Summer School will facilitate young professionals and AMIR programme students to start and advance their careers in the materials recycling and innovation industry. This will be done with the help of resources such as alumni talks and engagement with companies partnering with the International Summer School. It will provide networking opportunities between industries, start-ups, incubators, and young professionals holding degrees or diplomas at AMIR. Benefits of Erasmus Mundus AMIR Scholarship 2025-27:
- Students from any country in the world can apply.
- AMIR-EMJM Scholarships are awarded to candidates who will score top scores during the selection process.
- These students can be awarded a full scholarship with an amount of 1400€ per month for 2 years.
- This amount will cover all expenses including accommodation, travel, and living expenses.
- EMJM scholarship recipients will not pay the AMIR program fee.
- Scholarship holders will be provided with insurance for the 2-year program.

Eligibility Criteria for Erasmus Mundus AMIR Scholarship 2025-27:
- Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Environmental Sciences.
- Applicants must have at least 3 years of advanced knowledge in Chemistry or a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or Materials Sciences.
- Applicants will be selected on the basis of academic background, motivation letter, language skills, work experience, entrepreneurship, and answers to a multiple choice quiz.
